Almost 50 years ago, the foundation stone of the Irmscher Group in Winnenden in Swabia was laid from the capital of the sale of a rally car. Today, this is an internationally operating group of companies that covers the areas of aftersales, special vehicle construction and development services.

At this year's IAA is from the rich Irmscher company history, an Opel Manta GSI which maybe called with just under 50 KM on the speedometer as a new car. The Irmscher Group converted more than 45,000 vehicles from this vehicle. This makes the Manta and especially the Manta GSI version a milestone in the history of Irmscher. In addition to the Manta GSI were the Manta i 200 / i 240 / i 300, all of which had bonds to the Opel motorsports vehicles, international crowd favorites. Meanwhile, all Irmscher Opel Manta models are very sought after and can only be found in a lover's hand. In total, the Irmscher Group has converted 500,000 vehicles into special models for the entire automotive industry.

The vehicle will take pride of place at the AvD booth in Hall 6. A special exhibition on the subject of tuning sets the scene and will certainly elicit a number of emotions among the observers.
